01. The Challenge

The goal was to create a fully functional Shopify e-commerce store from scratch using the free "Refresh" theme. The challenge involved designing a clean, modern, and conversion-optimized storefront while ensuring seamless navigation, mobile responsiveness, and an intuitive user experience—all without using premium themes or paid apps.

I built the Shopify store using the Refresh theme, leveraging its minimalist design and customization capabilities. Key steps included:

• Configuring store settings, including payments, shipping, and tax setup.
• Customizing the theme using Shopify’s built-in editor and Liquid code for enhanced design flexibility.
• Optimizing the store’s layout, product pages, and collections for a streamlined shopping experience.
• Implementing SEO best practices and performance optimizations.
• Integrating essential Shopify apps for analytics, email marketing, and customer engagement.

03. The Result

The final store featured a sleek, user-friendly design with fast-loading pages and a fully responsive layout. The intuitive product catalog and checkout experience enhanced usability, while built-in SEO optimization improved search visibility. This project demonstrated expertise in Shopify store creation, theme customization, and e-commerce best practices—delivering a professional, scalable online store using only free resources.
